A2Billing 1.4.3 has been released today, codenamed Sesame Street in recognition of the children’s television program celebrating it’s 40th Birthday this week.
Those who have been following A2Billing through the various versions over the years may be surprised at the number of releases in such a short space of time, compared to previous years. This is because A2billing is being used more and more telecom companies using A2Billing in their core business, and they are sponsoring development of features and functions.
A2Billing 1.4.3 fixes a number of bugs, but most importantly it adds some functionality to SIP and IAX Peers to more closely define the VoIP settings. Our thanks go to Donald Hansil of http://www.ipcomms.net/ who sponsored the development of the SIP and IAX enhancements.
